Colleen Lucas, PhD, is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, based in Calgary, Alberta. She has been consulting in the areas of personal and organizational development since 2002. Both as an internal and external consultant in diverse organizational contexts, she has provided expertise in the following areas: Personal Counselling (including career transition and retirement counselling), Leadership and Team Development, Organizational Change and Development, Program Development and Evaluation, Assessment for Selection and Development, and Creating Psychologically Healthy Workplaces
She has a Master of Science and a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Calgary. She has continued her professional development, completing the Prosci® Change Management certification as well as training in Appreciative Inquiry, EMDR Therapy, and Retire to the Life you Design®. She is also trained in the administration and interpretation of a number of assessment tools, including the Career Fitness Profiler®, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), Insights®, Occupational Personality Questionnaire, and the Leadership Effectiveness Analysis.
She is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and is a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. She currently volunteers on the Public Education and Wellness Committee (a subcommittee of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta).
